304 stainless steel balls are among the most widely used types of steel balls on the market, suitable for applications in medical devices, the chemical industry, aerospace, and plastic‑metal hardware—such as perfume bottles, sprayers, valves, nail polish containers, electric motors, switches, electric irons, washing machines, refrigerators, air conditioners, pharmaceuticals, automotive parts, bearings, precision instruments, and baby bottles.
316 stainless steel is primarily used in medical devices, food-processing machinery, cosmetic components, body jewelry, and instrumentation. 316 stainless steel balls are a high‑performance product, typically employed in specialized industries such as medical equipment, chemical processing, and aerospace—applications include perfume bottles, atomizers, valves, nail polish containers, body jewelry, and mobile phone circuit boards.
As a representative of martensitic stainless steels, 420 stainless steel balls exhibit high hardness, excellent wear resistance, and moderate toughness. After heat treatment (quenching and tempering), they also achieve superior corrosion resistance and polishability. With favorable machinability, they are well suited for manufacturing components that endure heavy loads and require outstanding wear resistance.
440C steel balls are spherical components manufactured from high-carbon, high-chromium martensitic stainless steel. Their distinctive characteristics stem entirely from the intrinsic properties of 440C steel, while their spherical geometry—suited to applications such as bearings, grinding, and precision transmission—further enhances three key advantages: hardness, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance.
The microstructure is martensitic, and the manufacturing process is demanding. Few domestic manufacturers are capable of producing stainless steel 440C, which is why companies that do so are often regarded as specialists in this material. The heat‑treatment process is complex, prone to cracking, and requires high precision. As a result, 440C is one of the hardest stainless‑steel ball grades, with a Rockwell hardness (HRC) of ≥58. Its hardness is comparable to that of bearing steel balls, yet it offers superior resistance to rust and corrosion.
Stainless steel balls are used in a wide range of hardware industries, as well as in crafts and plastic products, such as lighting fixtures, switches, motorcycle parts, luggage, bearings, and die-cast components.
